About Us
Green Gold Coast Environmental Consulting is a sustainability firm that helps racquet sports facilities across Long Island collect and recycle used tennis and platform tennis balls, turning waste into “Green Gold.”
The Problem: Every year, millions of tennis balls are manufactured, used for a few sets, then discarded. Because of their complex rubber and felt composition, a single ball can take over 400 years to decompose. For the average club, that can mean thousands of pounds of used balls heading to local landfills, an environmental problem and a lost opportunity to recover their value.
Our Solution: We make recycling easier for clubs by handling collection, logistics, impact tracking, and reporting. Our goal is to make recycling easy for club staff and worthwhile for club management.
The Impact: Since 2025, we’ve diverted nearly 4 tons of tennis and platform tennis balls from landfill, offset over 8 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, and generated over $10,000 in potential tax deductions for participating facilities.

Let's Talk Trash
As a varsity tennis player and nationally ranked junior platform tennis competitor, I spend a lot of time on the court and see firsthand how many balls clubs go through, and how many end up in the trash. I founded Green Gold Coast Environmental Consulting to do something about it. By combining my experience in the racquet sports community with a practical approach to recycling, I help clubs turn their “dead” balls into “Green Gold.”
